Crashes keep Schleck from front of the pack
Team leader Fränk Schleck lost time on the Giro’s stage 11 after being held up twice by crashes that saw the peloton come to a complete stop. Disappointed that the inappropriate action of another has cost him a chance to compete in the GC, Schleck lost 46-seconds on Wednesday.

Sagan shows dominance in California sprint stages
Despite three climbs on the day’s course, including the category 1 climb up Mt. Diablo, the stage came down to another sprint finish on Tuesday in Livermore. It was a new location but the same face on the top step as Peter Sagan made it three-for-three.
