Description:
In 2011 Team RadioShack stormed the opening Prologue and dominated the time trial for day one of Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen, taking 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7th in an impressive show of power from the Team riders. Jesse Sergent wasted no time in taking his first professional win, grabbing top honors in the 7k Prologue at the opener on Friday. The prologue can again be decisive in the 2012 event as day 2 and 3 (with Kemmelberg) are sprinter’s stages. The danger in this race are the crosswinds on the narrow, windy and slippery roads.
