The elder of Luxembourg’s most well-known brothers has found a great deal of success over a wide cross-section of cycling. Aside from his Grand Tour ambitions, he has been successful in one-day Classics and one-week stage races.

A climbing specialist who has the toughness to win a one-day Classic like Amstel Gold Race, Fränk is one of the selected riders who has raised his hands to the sky on the prestigious Alpe d’Huez, taking a solo victory with an impressive display of strength and tactical acumen. Schleck wore the yellow jersey for a week in 2008. In the 2011 Tour de France he finished third, alongside his brother Andy.

He has won the overall classification of important stage races like the Tour of Switzerland, the Tour of Luxembourg and the Critérium International. He is the current Luxembourg Road Champion and, like his brother Andy, is a national hero.

Having raced together for several years now, the two Schlecks form the most dangerous one-two punch in cycling.
